For the first time in four years, I wasn&#8217;t at a company meeting for it.  My lovely work friends got me a birthday cake and took me out for cocktails and dinner.  My sweet husband gave me a birthweek.  Forever, I have wanted to stay in a castle.  Check.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-GvF8ZZz_j3w\/TyznlGDyqII\/AAAAAAAAAaM\/KHlTIWn98jw\/s1600\/Amberly%2BCastle.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-GvF8ZZz_j3w\/TyznlGDyqII\/AAAAAAAAAaM\/KHlTIWn98jw\/s320\/Amberly%2BCastle.jpg?w=980\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705189452439267458\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We spent a great night in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amberleycastle.co.uk\/\">Amberley Castle<\/a>.  What a beautiful and amazing place.  Scott arranged for us to have a seven course tasting menu dinner.  In a private room.  With a roaring fireplace.  And our own waiter and sommelier.  Talk about spoiling me! (The gift-per-day was a nice touch too!)  One of the other cool things I was treated to for my birthday was going to see Amos Lee in concert here in London.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TmQFwIKsU1U\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He was amazing!  <\/p>\n<p>I have had an unforgettable year.  Lucky beyond all expectations, we live a dream life.  Some people worry about getting older, and I am thankful for continuing to <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">get<\/span> older.
