The kids and I flew up to Nashville the day after Scott’s mom died to meet him. It was wonderful seeing everyone, but horribly sad to be there under the circumstances. Scott’s dad and wife (Lem and Vicki) flew in from North Carolina. We hadn’t seen them in a couple of years. It was so kind of them to fly in to support Scott and his brother and sister.
The five days we were there went very quickly. The last night Kathy hosted a celebration for Glenna’s life.
So many people showed up and shared such fun memories of Glenna. She will sorely be missed. We’ll travel back to Nashville in November to plant her remains with a beautiful strong tree so that her memory can go on living.
